I'd personally avoid the 996. Interior is awkward and the quality isn't that good. It has the potential intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) issue that can be catastrophic, especially for the 3.4L

Different generation of engines. The 3.5L engine in the MDX is 'new' for 2014. The engine in the RX350 has been there since 2008. The previous 3.7L in the MDX (same era as the RX) was mediocre....

Better fuel economy is a MUST. It drinks gas like it's a V8. A Chevy Suburban with 355hp/383ft-lbs gets 16/23 while the Ridgeline is at a lowly 15/21.:eek2:

I concur. Any hint of silicone from old tire dressing will make that spot brown and flaky. I bought a gallons worth of Tuf Shine cleaner so I didn't get their brush, but any stuff brush should do....
