my understanding is that a monochromatic light will reduce scatter/increase contrast to some degree (think prism) but don't ask me to explain in any more detail. A 6k light is going to be pretty well...

Are you sure it is nothing on the inside?
You can always use a DA polisher on the outside. Sounds like you don't have much to lose by trying. You could always try a cheap single action polisher....

I'd suggest you get a tire depth gauge to check. They are pretty cheap. I think the super sport start at 10/32" tread. I'm kind of guessing, but after 5k miles I'd think you should still see 7/32 or...

I'd still like to see some IS350 independent 3rd party before/after dynos, but if they are now claiming only 7hp increase for the IS250 that would be a pretty lame attempt at a scam. Vivid can't be...

why would this make a difference?? I can't imagine the old cap would seal so tightly that you'd get a vacuum that would last long enough to limit gas flow, and I can't think of any other reason why...

So you'll pay to unmount the summer tires, mount the winter tires, then do that again in the spring?
Do you have 18" rims now? If so, and you were to go to 17" winter tires, you'd probably save...
