The shifts on my tranny are still as smooth as before. No jerks in any gear change.

FYI, on my GS the dial was set on the second position from factory (Euro GS).

Yeah you are right but they are still quite firmer than the stock bushings. I'll stick with these untill FIGS finishes his solid bushings.

Got all my parts in. I'm rebuilding the front calipers, replacing the front brake lines and, inevitely, changing the brake fluid. I'm also changing my LBJs with Moogs.

The pedal isn't spongy at all, it's too firm. You really have to put a lot of pressure to get decent braking.

When I bought the GS it braked just find. I changed the front pads myself after a while. But when doing this, I didn't open the brake fluid reservoir when pushing back the caliper...

The oil issue can be quite bad. I would look at that first. Is the car leaking oil from underneath? Or is it actually burning the oil. Worst-case scenario would be having to swap another engine....
