Yeah, not exactly the same situation. It was the same brand, but I guess I should have said that I was happy with the original car, not the follow up car. Like you said, if you can make it worthwhile...

Good luck, I have two anecdotes..

1) I was able to get out of a lease a full year early and they bought me out clean and clear because I picked up another car.

2) I also did this to avoid...

Agreed. I like them both, but would probably opt for platinum because I'm not as big a fan of the slightly warm tint of atomic. They both look killer with cabernet, but I would also pass on atomic if...

It's kind of cool to have a car that's somewhat rare in the 460, but not many people aside from enthusiasts will notice that. I'm partial to the 4GS, but you're gonna spend a lot more to pick up a...

Why do you take it as offensive? Your motor, your windows, your parts, everything has Toyota on it.

Plus, you're looking at an MSRP of $70-75k, depending on options. At that price, I'd be waiting for the GS-F too, or pulling the trigger on something stupid like a used E63 Wagon.

Actually, given the same load, the contact area with the road will be the same. Wider tires change the slip angle though, as well as temperature dispersion.

That being said, I'll also be going...

I agree, I think it's more likely it eats away at the GS more than the IS, because it is less expensive and about the same size (though the similarities pretty much end there).

Though I will say I...

Maybe, but I personally prefer the form and design of the 2IS over the 3IS. The only reason I'd choose the 3IS is because of the seats. Not to knock the rest of the car, it's a great car, but I still...

I've driven a 2IS 350, a 3IS 350 and I own a 4GS (8-Spd), and the 2IS was the most responsive by far. It's got to be a combination of the weight and the 8-speed transmission, in my opinion.

Fitting a stock rim and being an OEM tire size are two different things. Many of those cars use 225 or 245. Just because they can use it, doesn't mean they came with it.
