Are you simply pushing it down once or holding it down for a few seconds? Also, cruise control will NOT engage for safety reasons below 40mph, if I remember correctly. Try doing it at 55 and above.

Best way to find out is to google the replacement part number. Get it from Sewell's part catalog. That's what I would do.

You could also try calling a local Lexus parts dept.
