I just use full synthetic, usually M1, at 5k. Think they use 5W30, would like to use 5W40 but the place I go doesn't have it.

I have not had that problem, maybe they fixed it, I got one of the last ones made I think ~2003, mechanically the vehicle is perfect so far and I'm loving it, downside is a loud dash rattle, ouch...

Mine went out a few years ago, just got used to it, then a few months ago it came back on!! Did not have it replaced or DIM, i know, weird, not sure how that is possible if the buld burned out?
