I've driven both & found the non KDSS version to be intolerable.

Without KDSS on the road handling was not to my liking. With it the truck could handle. True, it was no Porsche, but it would at least get out its own way!

I am guessing the owner is under 24 or so......

Not at all to my taste. Too, well, ghetto comes to mind, never mind the fact that handling, ride and performance are all degraded with so large a wheel. Better start saving for new kidneys. You made...

Glad you found this useful. Was everything clear enough?

I'd all but forgotten this, but saw the pics when I went to photobucket to post pics for a motorcycle project & saw these. I totally forgot I even had an account until it reminded me! Thought I'd...

Almost 4 years later and I see this is still being looked at!

Kinda cool. About the only thing I would change off the top of my head is to use dedicated plastic trim popping tools instead of tape coated tools. Much safer. See here:

Sirius radio, harness and antenna for sale

You do NOT want black!! WAY too much work and never really looks good

I've had one black car in the last 20 years and can only say one thing: NEVER AGAIN. No matter what I did it always looked crappy. Endless hours and it still was "OK" at best. I've got better things...

Anyone need a Sirius radio/harness unit? (m)

Hello-
I've got a barely used OEM Sirius radio with LX harness kit and a "Monster" brand antenna, all of which are barely used (less than 5 months). Total cost new (with discount): About $350. ...

Considering the '07 is barely out, there is little info (m)

However, it is thought that a new model may be seen in '09 or thereabouts

$500-$1000 over invoice. But- do not buy one without KDSS (m)

Or, at ;east test them back to back. Handling without KDSS is ponderous at best, at least to me.

Anyone need: Xenondepot lights? Sirius radio? Ultimate lockpick? '06 GX is sold

Well, gang, it looks like my ownership of a GX was short lived. Rather ironic given all the nonsense I had to go through to get one!
However, selling was the right choice. Due to an illness in the...

You've got major guts! There is NO WAY I'd install anything but an OEM unit!

All I can say is...wow.... you've got guts. :eek2: Couldn't bring myself to install anything but a factory unit.

NIce vids and well done. Gotta wonder, though, why one

would go offroad in a vehicle on trails (??) so bad one could walk far faster. I'd rather go on trails where speeds rise above 1-2mph at most.

Still- great vids and nice job all around. Thanks for...

I would try hooking up a DVD player to the Ultimate's connections (m)

I suspect that the unit must "see" a signal through its own inputs before playing in the front. Lacking a portable DVD player, I tried it with an old VCR, which worked.

A suggestion. And a question

First the suggestion: Have you tried cycling through with a source plugged into the front display? It might not work unless it "sees" a video source.

Now the question: What exactly did you do to...

Don't make me spit coffee out my nose again!

There is more than a little truth to this. Many stereotypes have substantial basis in fact and don't care about being "PC". For example, "Angleslex" who posted above in favor of garish wheels lives,...

"It has fair amount of advantages.. and thats why a good set could easily cost..(m)

you around $3000". This is exactly why they are a bad idea. Big $$ outlay and virtually no resale value. You'll get nothing on a trade and, if anything, would see many hesitant to take an obviously...

I have but on thing to say on the subject:

Don't do it. Yes, my opinion is subjective, but large, unwieldy chrome wheels have a rather "ghetto" connotation. Plus, larger wheels destroy off road ability and usually degrade handling due to...

Also, what did you do with the running boards?
One more question- How did you post the pics? I tried, but mine are huge, about 1.2mb each (8mp camera) How does one dumb the pics down to post?
