I wouldn't use it even if it could be bent back, the metal's fatigued already and the replacement parts are CHEAP. too much risk for too little money saved.

A simpler thing to do is to simply sag the rear spring, ~1/2-1".

That said, the beatsonic dash kit matches way way better than the metra.
