Awhile back someone posted a really cool plate mount for show cars. It screws to the underside of the car, and had an arm that comes up to hold the plate. Super easy to remove, and looked decent. I'd...

If they were really that important, they would be required to be lighted like the back. I've been told that they are required because they give a nice flat surface for radar reflection. Sounds like a...

I agree the $1500 isn't a steal....but I think there are a lot of factors in the cost of a warranty. It's just another aspect of the deal that is negotiated. I doubt your 8yr/120K was for a 6 year...

I paid $1500 for my 3year/30K warranty. Make sure you read the fine print. Mine covers EVERYTHING except the Nav unit. Used it twice already, and had no problems.

I've owned a lot of Toyota's, and I've never had a timing belt break. I have however had a timing chain break on my truck. Bent a valve, shattered all the plastic guides, etc. Book said a 12 hour...

Personally I'd never buy from a small dealer that gets cars from the auction. They get the cars the big dealers don't want...with a FEW exceptions.

Love the color.

From what I've read, there isn't much you can do to get appreciable power gains from this car. The ECU is the limiter. Maybe a little to gain from intake and exhaust, but not much.

It does. I carpool every other day too work, and I take the truck to the meeting spot on the days I don't drive, so it can sit outside, and the GS can stay in the garage :-)

Yup. 385K. My dad bought it new in '95. I bought it from him with 200K for $4K, and put another 185K on it. It still has the original clutch!! It's a gutless wonder that keeps on going. Only costs...

Paid $24K for my 2007 gs430 loaded with everything a year ago. Had 55K miles, and well cared for. Not a steal, but I'm happy with it. These v8s that are nice don't come up for sale often.

I'd wait. No point in over extending yourself for the 300. Personally, I wouldn't settle for anything other than the V8 (either the 430or 460).

Someone posted numbers for all the years and models awhile back. There are VERY few of the 2007 GS430s because they were all special order. That also means the majority of them are loaded.
