I really don't get your dislike of the Lexus gated shifter. I can understand the E shifter, but not the gated shifter. I have a standard back and forth shifter in the Sedona, but the Expedition I...

I've done it twice, but it was a long time ago. It wasn't hard either time. No sales tax in MD because we pay sales taxes on the whole purchase price upfront. I don't recall any fees or premiums, and...

What it really is is insurance. You are spending $X for insurance against mechanical failures. Personally, I would only ever even consider a Lexus warranty, never a third party warranty...and since...

The refresh MKZ is still not as smooth and refined as the ES. Alex on Autos posted a review this week, you should watch that he discusses that.

As for warranties, like I've said before if they didn't make money selling warranties, they wouldn't sell them.

As for the brakes, that's just kind of how the brakes on the LS460 are, they are...

I haven't driven the latest Lacrosse, but I have sat in it, and have driven the MKZ. I wouldn't personally consider the Lacrosse, but I would consider the MKZ. It's not as soft riding as the ES, or...

I'm well aware of all of that, but there was a change made to the 3.0 V6 before 2002. I've watched this with interest, I don't think I've ever seen a 2002-2003 with sludge. They're 14-15 years old...

I don't recall hearing of any engine sludge issues on the 4ES, that was an issue really on the 3 ES. There were some internal changes made to the engine with the introduction of the 4ES in 2002. But,...

Oh sure, its all a matter of personal taste. The big thing is the luxury nameplate. If you want "a Lexus" you're not going to consider a Maxima or Ford Fusion. I would drive the ES long before I...

I agree with you.

I wouldn't, the S7 is just not my kind of car, way too sporty. Its also way more money than a G90. G90 is VERY similar to our LS460.
