Well, that's why I said, IMO. Those are my observations. A lot of it can be attributed to the fact that you owned your LS for some time and got used to it, so your reaction is not "fresh" anymore....

I never had an AHC failure in over 360k so far and I don't expect it anytime soon. If I did I would certainly fix it, as oppose to replacing.

I have not hear of the problems with the AHA before. Mine has certainly been fine for all the years and miles. So can't provide any useful info.
