I don't think there's any difference in appearance to distinguish the two. They pretty much look identical. Maybe if there's a part number label on there.

Yeah the pressure sensor on the 01-05 have different pin pattern, which is why u need to swap them if you have a 98-00 GS.

Its very possible though for someone to put an 01-05 sensor on an old...
