The mechanic sourced a new OEM control arm from somewhere and has installed it. It was an original factory fitted control arm which was replaced.

Thanks Auxive I'm a bit concerned about aftermarket myself as it's a critical component. I'll have to ring the mechanic, I haven't hear from him in nearly a week.

Not me. I have that disc and the layout is all over the place. Ended up buying some Lexus manufactured manuals online.
