I recently did this. It's too much work to remove everything that goes along with the air suspension. They can be left in the car, as they don't interfered with anything and the weights is minimal...

I had Swift Springs on my GS. They are designed to work with the stock stroke of the stock shocks. No idea if they make them for the LS. But I really liked them. I put a set on my Supra, too.

My fuel gauge is telling me lies! And recently on a road trip, the car ran out of fuel!! Fortunately, I was able to coast into a gas station. So I'm guessing the fuel sender is not working...
