Got the sensor, installed it today, it's a 2 min...

Got the sensor, installed it today, it's a 2 min affair. Remove the 1 x 10mm bolt, pop the panel out of the rear driver side corner of the interior plastics, and reach in and unplug the sensor...

So you replaced the stopper, and not the sensor? Strange that this fixed your issue, given that they looked the same upon side by side inspection, but whatever works.

I'd be adjusting the catch so the door closes tighter, so the sensor is depressed further when the door is closed. I wouldn't expect any gaps, the seal should be squished tighter, unless I'm missing...

Like I said, the product looked great, and it made install a much easier project than messing around with bearings and seals. Bolt off old, bolt on new, reassemble.

New 27F battery in ours, needed a boost after sitting out in the cold for a few days over Christmas. Cranks over noticeably faster than I remember it ever cranking, so that's a good sign!
