Pretty sure that was me, unless there was another one earlier in the day. Just now saw this thread from Ali's build thread; I'll have to keep a better eye on this board.

Looks pretty rough, but I love the name. Too bad she's not "canon" anymore and won't be in the movies. :(

Yeah, he slammed it pretty hard. I might actually still text him and see how fast he was going to do that kind of damage. Luckily he said he only owned the car for maybe 2000 miles so hopefully he...

It's an '86, but the bumper was pretty destroyed. I got a pristine one from a buddy's '84 complete with lights, so I'll rock it.

You can only see half the shop in that pic lol. The posts on the...

Picked up a second SC - 5spd hardtop!

Picked up this car yesterday, Dude had slid into a median and jacked up the subframe and steering rack. It's a five-speed hardtop wingless SC300 with 134k miles. We had a hell of a time loading and...

I dipped my window trim, came out looking great. I don't think they look thick either in pics or in person.

Thanks for the chop! They don't suit the car as well as they do my SVO, as I thought, but it was worth a shot.

Another wheel request

Any chance of doing these wheels on this car? They're 17s compared to the 16s on the car now, for scaling purposes. It would be awesome to see the wheels done in all black.

Car:...

That's kinda what I was thinking, that it'll be fine behind a 1UZ. I think the ratios are maybe a little low, although I'll have to look into it, but that's easily solvable with a different rear end....

Maynanator, PM sent.

Yeah, that's the only thing I'm worried about, is the strength of the transmission. I ran across a few things that suggest the truck W55's are actually stronger than the IS...

Just found a W55 in my garage

From an '86 2wd 22RE pickup. I could have sworn it was a G series, so I never gave it a second look for the 4+ years it's been sitting there. I'd need a shifter to make it fit in the SC and that's...

SC wheels on......an SC

Saleen/Stern SC's, that is. Finally there are five-lug 18" reps of these, so I figured it's worth a shot. Can anyone chop these onto my car? The current wheels are 16's and the black wheels are 18's,...

Yeah, there's a right way to do it for sure. A motto I picked up recently is, "If you don't have time to do it right, how will you have time to do it over?" Look through my bodywork build thread and...

Ouch lol. Yeah, that's pretty brutal, but it seems to me that you'd be spending most of that on a GTE swap as well. Turbo timer, gauges, etc. I intend to pick up a junkyard GE for less than $200 and...

Obligatory "Do a search, lazy!"

Of course the engine options that were available in that chassis from the factory will be easiest (JZ series). Anything is possible with the right motor mounts,...

Engine harness/ECU socket question

In all my research so far, I haven't seen this one answered, so apologies if it's dumb. Is the plug for the engine harness to the ECU the same between 300 and 400 cars? For example, if you plugged...
