do you know if i could upgrade just the nav computer? i already have nav but would like the 06 computer and software so i can have bluetooth.

Yes The 2006 5th Generation Computer Is Plug In And Play And Will Work With The Third Genration Nav Screen To Update The Computer But The Bluetooth Module Is Built In The Screen Electronics Not The Computer And The Bluettooth Sc430 Screen Has Different Plugs In The Back So it Is Not Pl;ug In And Play. Adapter Plugs Would Be Necessary Tp Plug In The 2006 Bluetooth Screen.in the 2002 wiring harness.

i see so the wiriing harness would be problematic. would you hapen to know what would be involved in adding / rewiring the plugs?

The kit I purchased from lexusaudio should be here anytime, it is for a RX300 complete install, from all the conversations we have had, it will be plug and play with only a couple of wire splices, I know one will be for the speed sensor. I am looking forward to finally receiving it.... maybe today......
