I just looked at the one on ebay and it looks like it has everything and is a great buy, am I wrong? Has anyone purchased one from there and had success or trouble? I would really like to know. Thanks. -Mike

I think I got my parts from the same guy on ebay lexus of roseville or something like that. The guys name was Matt. You should send the guy on ebay a message he sold me the entire kit minus the spare doughnut. Also yes the supra TT spare has the same size tire as the one sold in the kit.

I wonder if the donut spare on my Safari cargo van will fit? I think it has 8 bolt holes. Could it be universal?
Thanks,
Mario

just got a quote for like 395 for the spare tire kit without the spare...
i guess if you can find a supra spare youll save like a hundred bucks...
500 bucks still seems like alot to me though ...

I rather save $100 and have the option for my doughnut to fit a BBK than not. Also I wouldnt get the kit unless you got non-runflats. This spare tire really kills your trunk space Just go buy AAA coverage, also most insurance companies include this service already. For me personally if I get a flat I want to be able to change me own tire and not wait 2-3 hours for the tow truck, plus my car is going to be lowered and modified I dont really trust anyone else with my car. Thats why i paid the $500 for it

I definately want to change to non-runflats...
Everytime I get a flat with the runflats they fail me under the 100mile mark(usually around 50 miles) despite the claims by firestone store reps saying its impossible b/c of their specialized technology blahblahblah
What ends up happening is I eventually have to call a tow truck each time, with a 2-3 wait time, stranded in the middle of nowhere.(lexus roadside assistance, thru AAA)
Besides, the stock tire size is pretty much special order everywhere except the dealer (they raped me last time for $375 + installation and you have to wait hours for small routine service even with an appointment), so even if the runflats get you home safely, by the time a tire comes in, the runflat failed already.(ive also have bent rims which i partially attribute to running in runflat mode)
with a doughnut, at least u can ride around until the new tire comes in..
id hate to be in a situation where im hours away from home and I get flat w/ the runflats and no spare. Id be screwed for sure lol
if the runflats had more realistic 'runflat life' i probably would have kept them...

I feel you completely. I hope you paid for that road hazard thing from lexus, I think it cost around 300-400 bucks and they cover every time you blow a tire or curb a rim. If I were you I would swap out those run craps next time they need replacing and spend the $500 for peace of mind. Its worth it

would that cover aftermarket wheels too?
last time I had a flat and tried to get a replacement at lexus(road hazard warranty as stated in the sc430 owners manual... i bought the car from them) they gave me a hard time and basically said its not their problem and contact bridgestone... and bridgestone says to go back to lexus... a runaround...
