Not to 'jack up this thread, but I recently came across an SC 430 Pebble Beach Edition during the LS 430 Premiere event in the Greenwich CT dealership. At first I did not realize it was a PB Edition; I was so in awe of the different body color and wood trim, not to mention the matching color of the wheels. Then I remember a couple pictures of the PB Edition SC were posted in the CL gallery, so that got me thinking. This is quite similar to the Coach and Platinum Editions of the ES, GS, LS and RX models: unique color combos and interior trims, and sometimes additional gifts. No performance differences.
Here are some pictures I took of the SC I saw at the Greenwich dealership.

Last pic. For some reason, the dark wood trim seems to work well with the ivory leather. I kinda like it.
jcramair1, make sure you and your wife safely stow away the SC during the wintertime; you know how harsh NE winters can get!

Lexusk8 trust me this car will not see much driving between now and spring time. It still after 2 weeks of ownership only has 89 miles on it. The LX470 is in session right now.

damn... someday, someday, someday...
... the sc430 is a little beyond me right now but hey, maybe in 3 years I can finally get one. Until then, I'd have to live with my IS200 (out here in the Philippines, this is what we got; not the IS300). The SC430, with all the taxes and duties come to around $108000 over here - a whopping 40% increase. Since there are no dealerships here for Lexus, this is the price we have to pay to drive such a car.
it's a shame because BMW, which has a network of dealers over here can sell the Z4 2.5 for $54000 which isn't too far in pricing over the Z4 out there in the USA. This is the reason 2 of my friends have purchased the Z4 over the SC430.

Speaking of the wheels...
I just noticed that the wheels on jcramair1's wife's SC are different than the one I saw at the dealership. Take a look... here's jcramair1's Pebble Beach SC.
And here's the Pebble Beach SC at the dealership.
I can understand changing out the stockies from the former SC, but I really like the more pronounced 5-spoke look in the latter SC, not to mention the blue color blending around the perimeter of the wheels Maybe the "new" wheels are an upgraded factory option for the Pebble Beach SC?

I think the wheels for the Pebble Beach are blue colored. It looks like the dealership put the spoke kit on in the normal silver color. They must not make a spoke kit in the Pebble Beach blue color. I like jcramair's better. If the spoke kit was in the same color, it might look better. To me anyway. Take care.
