Hi,
I have an SC430 2002 and I need to change my drive rear axle (Left). It is possible to put an Rear Axle for SC430 2005-2010 ?

Because I live in France and the reference part is no longer manufactured : 42380-29029Thanks

No, the parts are not interchangeable. in 2006+ they use a different transmission.

But, I think if you went to a lexus dealer, you probably could get the part you need brand new. It fits a lot of cars, going back to 1998.

I also checked ROCKAUTO.fr and they have a remanufactured one http://www.rockauto.com/fr/partsearc...num=4234024060 My French is Non Existant, so I am not sure if this is the left or right. If it is the wrong one, try the part number one higher, or one lower

Not sure if this is useful but I replaced the rear passenger axle on my 2002 SC430 a few years ago. I found that our SC axle is interchangeable with my other car which is a 2003 GS430. Aside of sharing numerous suspension parts with the 1998-2005 GS it also shares the axle, hub, bearing and brakes.

Hey. I just did a quick search on a few websites that I use in Ukraine to order my Lexus parts and it says that your axel is available at one of the Toyota wear houses in Germany. They usually order parts to be delivered to Ukraine but I am sure it will be even easier to ship it to France. They charge 5$ per kg for delivery to Ukraine so it shouldn't be anymore than that for you ether.

I found a belgium website : www.toyota-pieces.com They are very serious and normaly they have the reference.

But Lexus France called me for said me that the reference is no longer manufactured. But it's possible that the reference (no longer manufactured) was just the gimbal bellows (ref : 04437-24031 boot kit inboard joint)

So, if I can't change the joint, I need to buy the complete drive rear axle...

I called again lexus France, the reference no longer manufactured was : 42370-29705

But I think that this part has been replaced by the ref : 42370-29109 (right side for the example)

I think the lexus store that has ordered for me, can be made an error...
