When I start out driving my o4 sc430 left side speakers are not on, and after I turn up volume a bit they will kick on, anybody know what is causing this?

Sounds like amp. circuit on left channel issue. Either temerature related, cold solder joint or amp chip acting up or driver for the amp chip.

I bet thats right, it has been colder than typical here in phoenix. Do you know where that amp is located?

Amp is in the trunk. They are about $1800.00 new. I got one on ebay for $99.00 without a guarantee that it worked and it did. You can get them for about $200.00 that are guaranteed. I think the 2010 SC is different. All the others are the same.

Ok thank you guys, its ok once I turn up volume so I guess will see how long it lasts.

the amp is really easy to replace once you remove the cover in the trunk and that is easy too.
