I am considering removing the front grill on my 2003 SC430 and painting it black. Any tips on removing the grill? Has anyone painted the grille black? I am thinking it would look better on a white car. Is the Lexus emblem in the grill held on with two faced tape or are there fasteners on the back? Thanks!

Single screw on lexus logo you have access to it from the back side. The logo is plastic so be careful when you tighten screw.
The grill is held in with just a few fasteners and comes out pretty easy. There should be other posts and pics on forum of people who have done this use the search function

The grill comes out easy. Take the screws out on the top and the bottom slides out from under some tabs. I took it out every time I washed the car to be able to wash everything behind it. There has been multiple threads where others have painted and or plasti dipped the grill black. Just scan through some of the picture threads.
