Angry I promise I tried the search function

Got nowhere. Has anyone ever had blue-tooth added to our SC radio? I love stock and will go without music before I change out my stock unit. I have used several of Retroplays ideas, but didn't want to have to listen through the AM band due to noise. I have a '04 and really don't get it as many cheaper 2004 vehicles had it. Any help?

I added the VAIS Tech SL3B BT to have the ability to stream music using BT. Works great, but a little expensive. You have to pull your radio to unplug a harness and plug in their adapter harness. It's all plug n play so no cutting wires. There are several installation threads if you do a search. I find it's worth the money. The audio quality is great.
Look at this link to see what's involved with pulling the radio.

While the OEM radio is good the sound out of our pioneer avh-4200 neh is far superior.

Especially if you are playing a DVD,

different drive totally.

some are into high quality sound some are not.

speakers are jumping in the doors at medium volume.

when you say jumping, do you mean in a good way or the ML woofers are blown?

BTW, I have the Pioneer AVH-X5700BHS and it sounds much better than the OEM radio.

My bad. Yes, for 2004 you need the SLU which has aux-in only...not BT.

no not blown three previous older owners and 18,343 miles garaged when we bought it.

they are paper speaker cones so their life span is limited.

Not as worried about a future speaker replacement as the 4200 has an auto equalizer system that worked well when used

I have a 2002 and added a lot of aftermarket toys to my system including a bluetooth dongle which piggy backs off the VaisTech SL3U. I've really happy with my setup as well as the upgraded JL Audio system running off the ML amp. I have recently started using it with my wife's playlist that she created on SoundCloud. She adds great music and I can stream it anytime via the Arion/Eagletech Bluetooth Dongle which connects to my HTV One M9. Plus I can move forward/replay the track and take/make phonecalls plus responds to OK Google. Also, I have a hardwire connection for iPhones, but she can also connect via Bluetooth to the same dongle. Check the links below.
