i have 41,000km. sorry dont know how to do the conversion. 1yr worth of driving. can anyone top me?

I only have 3,860 Km (2,400 miles) as of today, and I bought it last October.

I am thinking of keeping this car for life.

I've heard this engine can last half a million miles from the LS board if properly maintained. At the rate I'm driving this car, I will still be driving it in 2103

Your message is not clear re what it takes to "top" you - more miles or fewer miles .... its probably all a matter of opinion.

P.S. My '92 SC400 just hit 95,000 this month. Have been able to keep miles relatively low because I live 3 miles from the office, and do not drive long distances for work.

I've had mine since Oct 1, 2001 and have about 6600 miles right now.. I don't drive it in winter

Picked mine up in April, 2001. Got a little over 14,000 miles now.

My '92 SC400 had 112K when I sold it. Never had any problems.

picked up Oct 2002, about 9600 miles now, I should be need to go to dealer for 10000 miles service in less than 2 weeks from now...

April 2001: 23,500 miles.......BUT, now that I got rid of those G.. D.... Run Flats and put on the Michelins, My car is 'reborn'....and I'll start counting from "0" miles again.

This includes a few trips of over 1,000 miles.

Sept. 2002... 11,700 miles... which is why I bought a second car yesterday to use as a daily commuter. Want to hold onto this baby for a long time!

I have 49000 miles on mine in 23 months. Thank God I have also flown 125000 miles during the same time. The dealer wasn;t sure what service to perform when I hit 30000 miles.

Well Ipromised my wife that I would only work on days that end in a "Y". That's why I bought this car. I do spend a lot of time traveling and it is such a pleasure to drive. But I do miss it when I fly, Avis doesn't rent SC430.
