I saw a 2010 on Autotrader a few months back wth under 8k miles I think. They were asking $50k for it. Too much for me. I like my 2006 well enough. Just under 130k miles on mine.

I don't think this thread was started with the intent to evoke a debate. Every one has an opinion and with regard to using or not using a car there are a lot of differences . I for one do use my car its started every week and run long enough to warm everything up heater on or air cond on Tire positions changed. I only use my car as far as any mileage goes for joy riding only. I never go in stop and go traffic and all my miles are highway. If I cant put the top down I don't drive it. My garage is heated year round and is temp controlled as well as moisture controlled.. I detail the car every 3 months and the top is dropped at least 4 times a month even if I am not using it, I take pride in doing the proper maintenance . I wipe down all the rubber moldings with 303 and maintain the leather with leathertique . I have never had a single issue with my car in 11 years other then a radiator that had a crack in the bottom which was replaced under factory warranty. In fact the only other issue I had was when I took the navigation unit out to install a work around
for navigation working when car was moving. I pulled a wire off and went to Baltimore and had the pleasure of meeting Johnny Cake and Habious who helped me make the repair of the wire. It was a fun day.

There is a difference in the way some people put cars away . I don't just put it in a garage and walk away.

exactly and those are the ones im talking about. most don't take care of there cars like that. im talking about the ones that are just parked and not even looked at for 6 months before driven and really not kept up that well, or sitting in a carport. remember WE are enthusiasts that love our cars. most love there cars but don't care for them like that. its just a fact. the only way to kill a lexus is to not drive it. statistically 90% of the ones I see in the junkyard barley have any miles on them. true story.
