Couldn't agree more -- after all, you live once!

I've kept my eye out for a possible replacement -- a SMALL luxury cushy cruising convertible. There is nothing on the market that fits those requirements.

Default SC Fever

I've had a 2000 LS400 for 14 years with 308,000 miles on it. Great car. I pick up my 2006 SC430 tomorrow and I have the same excitement that I felt when I got my 1972 240Z at 24 years old. Glad to know the feeling lasts.

With the current crop of crap Lexus design, this car looks better than anything Lexus makes today. I still get people draw dropping aw struck when I tell them this car came out in late 2001. I still get people coming up to me asking if it's a new model that just came out.

Unsain, congratulations on your new acquisition and welcome to the forum.

Hmm, looking at Jonas' headlights make me realize that I need to polish mine. (Looking good there Jonas.)

Hi Harold

If you end up polishing your light , don't forget to add an " Expel " Car light clear
bra

I had my RX Polished and added the clear bra film to the lens and it is amazing how it looks
and the best part is the lens will stay clear

Cheers

What is the clear bra? Protectant coat?

Expel is a manufacture that make " clear bra " film for the front end
of the car

Whenever you need to polish your headlight lens due to oxidation and
sun damaged , the UV protectant tends to get taken off

The clear film will protect your lights from sun damaged

My lens were in good shape with no sun damaged but I still had them put on . You can see
with the film , you still cannot tell there is a clear bra on the headlights

I definatly think the sc430 will have collectable value down the road from now, especially the later year models cause they were special order. classic car shows should be interesting in 2045

I use to own an SL 550 and back in my younger days , I told myself
I would never own a Japanese Sports car .

But after having to bring my Benz in every week for repairs , I switched to
The Lexus brand and I have never looked back since

I now have 2 RX and 1 SC
