Stereo volume and equalizer functions not working

Does your NAV still work?
If not loose wiring at either that connector in the radio or at the amp, then possibly the amp has gone bad. I'm betting on wiring, though.

Interesting! Checked the cars service history on the Lexus site and discovered that both the amp and head unit had been replaced twice prior to 2005. One head unit replacement was for the same problem that I described. Finally got around to checking the connection at the amplifier and I removed and reinstalled same. Seemed to happen early morning when temps were in high 30s so poor connection would make sense. Anyway, has been ok since.

Awesome. Let us know if it repeats. Could also be pinched wiring or corrosion in the connectors.

Glad to hear that the problem appears to be resolved.
