Had my side mirrors swapped out today for some from a donor vehicle. The mirrors on mine would go left/right but not up/down. These are working fine, so that was great.
I also had one of the chrome tipped turn signal bulbs on the tail light from my +06 conversion burn out, so I got those replaced with regular amber ones.
Finally, I dropped her off at the body shop today to get the previous owner's wear and tear removed. She has TONS on rock chips - literally at least 50 - on the hood and front fender, and a bad scrape down the driver side from door to back wheel well. So she is getting the front bumper, hood, and driver side all cleaned up. So I am without my baby until 9/26 but can't wait to see her after her she is done.
Just got mine back from the body shop yesterday. Had some clear coat lifting on the rear bumper and spoiler and also a little on the right front fender, near the cowl. All better now. It looks practically brand new. Also, the previous owner sprayed the tail lights with tint and put it on so thick that it was cracked and really ugly. They had to sand it off much like a headlight treatment and then sprayed a clear coat over them. They look like new now.
Bushings arrived today!!! After reading how they give better control and helps with the minor wandering issues we all have or had, i decided to order a set

Just got three photos from the body shop that is working on my car. When I bought her, she had TONS of rock chips - easily 100 plus - on the front bumper and hood. Also, its first owner scraped the driver side backing out of his garage. So I pick her up on Monday and was thrilled to see all those "pockmarks" and "scars" gone. My baby got dermabrasion and plastic surgery. Can't wait to get her back, I have owned Mercedes and BMWs in the past but NEVER loved a car like I love this one. So much that I am holding out for a jet black iPhone even though it is not going to be delivered until November, just because I want my phone to match my car. (Though since I am rocking my mom's broken 5C as I let her trade my 6 to get a new 7, we will see if I can hold out until November. I may bite the bullet and try to reserve a matte black instore.) Off topic, sorry...anyway, pics of her in the shop below.

Thanks Jonas. Yep, they said they would blend and also would polish and buff the rest of the car. It won't make '05 paint look new but should look better than it does. I did do the upgraded tail lights, best decision ever.

Ha, yes the pics of my "tail" were earlier. Yay, so happy for you, can't wait to hear how you like the mod once it is on your car!
You can really see the brakes now. I have the same wheels on both my cars. Just different size, face finish, and lip finish. They are the same but have a different look.
