I know the mic wiring to the mic amp is present. I saw it in the wiring diagram and almost used it when I installed the mic in the OEM location

I picked up a map light with the OEM mic installed for $25 on eBay. The advantage is the rubber mount which keeps the mic from picking up vibrations.

It is also used by the telephone and also the voice recognition in later models. I think it came out of a 2006(?)
I see them occasionally on eBay with the mics installed. It came from the US.
