new car, however , did not get a SC430 as expected
well, a few months ago i was posting about getting a SL or SC, well, now , I have the new 2003 fully loaded SMGII M3 parked in front of the driveway. IT costs my dad more than getting a SC430 cus M3 is sold for $120,000 USD.
Somehow in Taiwan Benz and Mercedez are still more respectable. For business purpose, I have to go with a BMW, and not a SC430. Convertible seems too unprofessional for a young 20 something year old I guess. Kinda sad having to leave the nice interior of the Lex. But first mod from JApan is on the way, full titaniun exhaust (Moteck Japan), and ohlins, quantum, or arragosta coilovers are also being considered.
wheels are possibly the expand series from Fabulous, polished, not chrome as shown in the picture

but is it Benz and Mercedes are the somthing...?
I am 21, SC430 is my 4th convertible car, I think being 20 something or younger and drive a convertible is a good match, but I wouldn't drive a convertible in Taiwan...

yes, young and convertible is defintely sweet. I should focus on the business and purchase my own porsche soon.

Personally, I would always be so much more proud of a cheap "junker" that I bought with my own hard-earned blood/sweat/tears money vs. an expensive luxury vehicle that somebody else bought for me.

I am 22 with an 03 sc430 and thats my 2nd brand new lexus and my 5th car all together, all paid by yours truly... Nothing wrong with your parents helping you out but not for a car. There are things that are far more important then that. If everything was about cars I would be driving a Bentely...

STELLA !!! STELLLLLAAAA !!! I could'a been a contender !
Sorry, I just had to say that.............even if it's just Ed that knows what the hell I'm talking about.........
When I was a kid my Dad gave me a "Rolls-kin-ardly". It rolled down the hills and could hardly make it up the next one........
I also had a Hamway.

Geez , lucky guys ...
The only vehicle I ever got as a gift was my Columbia Flyer bicycle. It was a beauty - the nicest thing I ever owned until I got my Lexus 50 years later (which is being purchased for me by the NYSE).
