Make copy of my keys?

There are two codes. The one I was talking about above is the FCC code which apparently would have been on a sticker on the key if mine still had a sticker. However, from doing a little research that code appears to be either HYQ12BBT or HYQ1512V.
The second is a key code which describes the cuts on the key itself. And this is apparently either stamped on the card key, a little metal plate you got when the car was new, or some can determine it from looking at the cuts on the key. It is also stamped on the locks or ignition but that is crazy talk!
So you need the FCC ID to get the right transponder/remote guts and the keycode to get your key cut.

LoL, the only that came with my car was the valet. Long story but I hired this guy, through the seller, to cut new keys. They were the key with tranmsmitter and It cost me an extra $300, but I have them and they have Lexus logos on them.

Looks like the question of whether or not Techstream can program keys also came up here a while back.

I only received one as well. It has the buttons, so I assume it is the master key. I haven't tried locking the center console or glovebox with it, though.

I am pretty sure TechStream will take care of everything because that is what Lexus/Toyota will use if you bring your car to them.
There may be other interface software out there now, but TechStream is alive and well in the automotive industry.

Prices range from $79-$129 typically (check your local dealers) - and includes a lifetime warranty so you will never have to buy another key. It does not have the Lexus logo.
