Yeah Johnny it was crazy I drove the green sc 400 out of a downtown hotel into and thru at least 3 feet of water!!!!
Then I drove that same sc to Delaware
8 months later I drove it back home to rebuild my home !!!!
258,000 miles of service thanks to you guys at Club Lexus !!!'

How much water did your house see? Looking at the clean walls (clean of water marks and National Guard markings), I'm guessing that your neighborhood was pretty much spared of the worst of Katrina.

My Aunt and Uncle lived very close to the 17th Street Canal Levee that breached and had around 9' of water in their house, which was subsequently condemned. It appears that your neighborhood has recovered well.

Wow, pretty amazing that you were able to drive through 3' of water without it dying.

We had four to five feet of water in my house and I live in the east part of n.o.
St. Bernard parish and the Mississippi coast had it a lot worse!!!!
I drove the car out a parking garage and into the water by putting my foot on the gas and the brake and keeping my revs up !!!! God is my co-pilot!!!
