last question for the day, promise...gps question
my gps on my 03 is outdated and i don't even use it really. is there anything else i could use it for? if so, how does one switch it, or even update it?

You need to update/change your DVD disc. The latest edition is 2014 NOV you will to select East or West. Check mylparts.com. Easy replacement.

You could also replace your radio with a new app radio, the display your favorite GPS software on the upper screen.
Again, do some research then ask questions.
