Default Pin Removal/Extractor Tool for Electrical Connectors

I have been looking for the proper Toyota/Lexus electrical pin extractor for our cars. There are kits for sale on eBay but they are just that, a $50 kit. The kit provides about 20 pieces and only one of them is for a Toyota connector.

If you know where to locate the proper tool for a reasonable price, please let me know.

I mean a tool that actually allows the removal of the metal pin from the connector.

You can get a pin extractor from Mouser Electronics (they have a website).

Default Rewire 18 pin connector OBD2 port

My OBD2 port was vandalized and several wires were severed. May need to do a rewire. Is this the tool I would need to use?

Do I just shove the wires in the hole?

I kind of doubt that Toyota/Lexus has a pin extractor kit since they use several different connectors. The best bet is to determine which connectors you want to replace pins on, determine who makes the connectors and what the part numbers are and order it that way. Obviously, this may not be a trivial exercise unless you already know what you are looking for or know someone that knows enough about connectors who can point you in the right direction.

Hey guys, Thanks for the feedback and information!

I looked in my SC430 wiring diagram manual and it gave me the specifications of the terminal extractor.
If anyone wants to see the page from the wiring diagram manual, let me know and I will post the specs and illustration.

This one appears to be close and was found on eBay.

I will provide you with as much information as I can...I am going to permanently disable the GPS screen motion and brake sensors. Then I will be able to enter any information into the GPS when the vehicle is in motion...
I could cut the wires, but would rather just remove the Pin. Which would make it easier to reinstall.
