I just had the Silver Bullet weighed with racing scales.
The total with 5/8 tank of gas w/o passengers was 3758 lbs (3802.55 adjusted for full tank)

[6 lbs per gallon gasoline, 19.8 gal per tank, 5/8 tank = 12.425 gal so missing fuel weighs about 44.55 lbs]

The weight includes the Seibon dry carbon fiber trunk but rest of body OEM. Other mods affecting weight are Mach V 18" 9.5" w wheels, 265/35/18 Dunlap Direzza II Star spec tires. PPE headers, custom SS exhaust, Supra TT diff w/LSD, Carbing fr lower chassis brace, Megan LP coilovers. Added about 10 lbs sound block to rear and Polk subwoofer (much heavier than OEM subwoofer). Some of these mods saved weight while others added weight.

OEM curb weight is reported by Lexus to be 3,840 with full fuel tank.
OEM weight/power of my OEM SC measured on a dyno (wHp) was 3840/233.33 = 16.46 lbs / wHp

Modded July 2015 weight/power = 3802.55/268.38 = 14.17 lbs/ wHp

As I get time I will post the weights of items that can be removed or replaced with lighter items looking at lbs not so much fractions of pounds. Please feel free to add to the list.

It would be nice to get the weight/power ratio down to 12.5 or less. Possibily with a piggyback ECU engine mods and perhaps even a supercharger can be added. To be able to build a roadmap of actions it's good to know cost/benefit and limits of the different options.

I am not adding costs to this list because for many options there are several choices and folks in different regions may find different opportunities.

Reasonable Item that can be removed either permanently or just for track days (I'm not including items nice for daily driving such as air conditioning and thensound system).

I wanted to do the same thing but the wife said i got to lose my own spare tire first before ditching anything "weight saving" measures in the car.

Haha that's for sure but harder to do. I need to drop 40 lbs but when/if I can do it that will be a bonus.

Good point - she doesn't . She doesn't ride when I"m on the track anyway though ...
