I was completely transparent with the adjuster and reported all my mods. They are repairing the car instead of declaring totaled. I consider myself very lucky.

What hit my car? I really have no idea since I did not feel an impact, but that was probably because the epic rainstorm and thunder concealed the sound.

It might have been a tree branch, since the damage extended from the passenger front bumper all the way to the oil pan area..

Yeah they are getting an engine with less miles. Not replacing timing belt and water pump, but Insurance company says all engine components are covered under warranty. May be an excuse for me to finally try changing a timing belt and water pump myself. Once repairs complete will almost definetly tune up, check plugs, pcv valve, and anywhere there may be carbon..
