Joining the Club - New Owner
Wanted to introduce my self, been reading a lot here while looking for a SC430. We finally found one this weekend that was in our price range and in great condition. It's black with the saddle interior and 43,000 miles. It's Beautiful! It needs a windshield and got new tires today. All of the SC's we looked at had alignment issues, the tires were badly worn on the inside edges. I will be getting an alignment in a couple days. I hope that is all that is wrong.
I was really disappointed with the ride and handling, but am hoping the tires/alignment take care of a lot of that. It had run flats on it, I put Pirelli P7's on it and the difference is amazing. It is a special car and by far the best I have ever had. I look forward to spending a lot of time in it this summer. I'll get some pics as soon as I can. All and any advice is welcome....

Welcome to CL John!
What year is your SC?
The ride and handling in my SC improved greatly after an alignment and new tires!

If you are close to Denver, try Stan's alignment. Colfax and Chester. I took my 06 there, told them to take out all of the negative camber they could, no more inside tire wear. $70!
Good buy and welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum jdinco and congratulations on your acquisition. It is a great car that just never seems to get old for the majority of its owners.
Your car looks nice.
Be sure to read the stickies at the top of the SC430 home page as there is tons of good information in those threads. Also, there was a recent thread on alignment specs to help get rid of the annoying early inside tire wear that Slingshot1 was referring to with regards to eliminating as much of the negative camber as possible.
