Thumbs up WAHOO! I'm Getting new Wheels! 19" SSR GT3s :)

So I'm finally taking that plunge!

I went and saw them and noon today and feel in love with them.... I confirmed they will fit just fine on my beloved SC430!

I'm picking them up at NOON tomorrow

I'll have to post photos once I get 'em on my car.

Just in case you didn't see the stats before, here they are:

Bridgestone S03s are the tire brand:

Fronts are 19 x 8.5" (37mm offset) wearing 245 35 19
Backs are 19 x 10" (41mm offset) wearing 275 30 19

Once the tires wear out in back, I'll upgrade to 285 30 19s but I'm content just leaving these for the time being!

Go figure: Here I thought I would buy Fikse's and downgrade to 17" but now I'm actually upgrading 10 19"!

I'm so giddy! I feel like a kid who just got his firt bicycle! LOL

Angry LOL

Yup...

You got it!

I have 2 sets of stocks now....

....gonna probably just hold on to ONE SET anyway to put back on the car when it is time for resale...

BTW: My tax refund is paying for them so it's not gonna hurt my pocket book directly... hehe

...and my other half just send me a page that said:

Wheel Addiction Anonymous 1-800-NO-CASH ...LOL (it's because I just bought wheels and tires for my winter beater not too long ago... LOL)

Default Nice wheels!

CeBoyd -

Those wheels were pretty much in my top 2 when I was buying my second set. In any case, I still ended up with SSR's. Like me, you had to get rid of the sensors, right? I like the thin spokes on those wheels and the wide polished lip. Great choice! I now wish I went to 19" wheels, but I wanted to use up my runflats, so I stuck with 18's. Please post a picture after you get them mounted.

Default yup...

...my sensors can't be used.....

So I'll have to make use of the FAQ (how to disable the sensors) post....

I seriously thought I was going to get the Fikse's... had the order ready to go and everything! I really loved the MAG Fikse. ...especially since I would have been able to use the sensors...

...but alas, I fell in love with these SSRs as soon as I saw them....

Stay tuned! I will GLADLY post photos once they are installed!

There isn't a correct fitment for those wheels on that car yet. (Just to let you know.) How do I know this? ...because there is an SC430 with SSR GT3's in my garage! You may want to look into getting spacers.

...and there is four boxes with 19" HRE 540R's sitting right next to them! I'll post pics when we get the new wheels on.

They don't sit in as far as the stock wheels but also don't stick out..... ....so I'm really not sure what you guys are complaining about.

IMHO --- I think they look great!

Wink very nice

I think your wheels could use 13" cross drilled brembos to keep them company.

Your car also needs to be dropped to get rid of what looks like at least 3 inches of gap between the fender and the top of the tire. Sweet wheels!!
