I have a set of OEM 5 Star (For lack of a better description) rims with Gunmetal Gray Hubcaps. I am not so thrilled with the look and I would rather have the Chrome Hubcaps.

Has anyone on this list ordered a set of the aftermarket hubcaps off eBay and have an opinion as to the quality? Anyone have a set of Chrome Hubcaps they would like to trade/sell?

...when you say "hubcap" or you meaning the OEM rim with the pie plate face? Like these in this pic?


...I think alot of members have bought wheels & other items from ebay.Just like anything else, it will depend on the item,store,seller,etc...as to what quality you get

While I am still searching for the right rim and tire combo for myself, I ordered some chrome twist caps. Seller took a siesta so instead of 24 hr shipping, it was 6 days, and its still in the mail. I'll let you know when it arrives, although remember the seller was slow as all get out.

Seller was SUPER slow. Anyway, they look ok. Fit a bit tight, but thats what the bolts are for. Plus I dipped the rims so they may be a little thicker. The PVD chrome looks nice, but I think this doesn't look so hot. Going to try it with dipping the hubcap as well but I want to give it a few days to see if it grows on me.
