A good run...
Just for fun I thought I would post my 0-60 this morning. Not sure how accurate this is, but the app is connected directly to my speed sensor via the OBDII port. Comments/critisis

Very cool!
I've been trying to find a (reasonably) cheap but accurate way to measure my 0-60 time.
OBD-II isn't an option on the Roadster. There's a few devices that will do it but, they're not cheap - and I don't want to spend $300+ on a box I'm going to use twice as a "gee, that's neat" thing...and then never use it again.
Let me know if you want to race, next time we all get together (on a track, of course)!

Let's definitely meet up at the track next time. Honestly I'm a little nervous about going to the track but I need to get over that..
Did you say that you don't think an OBD2 device is good for our cars? I just have a wireless device hooked up to my OBD2 and then link it to my iphone. I wouldn't say it is necessarily accurate, but since it is connected to the computer and speed sensor, maybe it is accurate?
Not to start up this contentious issue again, but I am in the camp that our cars don't really do 0-60 in under 6 seconds unless heavily modified. SilverBullett 5.7 on the track, if I recall correctly, and that car is full of performance mods.
I'd just be happy if my car did a verified 5.9 seconds or even low 6's :-)

Just spoke with my brother and he said he cross referenced his 0-60 on this app with his track run, and he said he was amazed how accurate the app is.
I guess I must have been going slightly down hill!!

Not "our cars"...it doesn't work in the Tesla (it was a joke...but not a very good one if I have to explain it in a follow-up post)
Specs say the Roadster will do it (stock) in 3.9 sec...and it certainly feels like it!
