Default Front Sway Bar

For anyone interested. Just ordered a Fig Eng. Front Solid 30mm Sway Bar for the 430sc. Not cheap 355.00 shipped. Been looking for some time for a 30mm Called Figs they said they have one thats great, I'll take one.
Stock rear 12mm ISF rear 17mm + 5 large
Stock front 26mm New bar 30mm solid + 4 larger
Now this is the setup I really wanted.

I bought the TRD bar; super easy install (it's 32mm). Car is still on jack stands.

I'm still fighting the rear ISF bar. The factory links don't like the FIG bushings even after I cut them.

I have Figs bushings and mod. caps. the factory links 430sc will not work with the ISF bar. the links are to small to fit in the holes right.
I didn't get the 32mm bar it to big with the 17mm rear bar. the bar in the rear should 19mm that's why Figs made the 30mm bar.

Why didn't you get the 32mm TRD blue front sway bar from Sewell? It's $228 plus shipping. Is the figs bar better??

it you the use 32mm you should use the rear 19mm like slvbullet used that the right setup. you just don't put in sway an don't know what your doing.

made
the 28.6mm are sway bars that save weight. it seem guys want a performance bars. the 28.6 is not a performance bar because its hollow. the performance bar is solid. the 28.6 is a upgrade bar but not a performance bar. guys must know you just don't put bar on the must be a balanced setup. the 430sc is a very unbalance setup because of the 12mm rear and a 26mm front. lexus should have change the rear bar in 2006 with the ISF bar. slvbullet has the best setup for the track no stiffer that it. I just order the Figs 30mm front and rear ISF 17mm this is the best street setup. Figs now make a 30mm been waiting for this one. they also have the rear 18mm. I hope I got my point.

I see you are one of the guys that read to much. the magazine are out there to sell products. I raced cars 40+ years and solid bar is the way to go. all upgrades on any car is a solid bar are they all wrong. thats why they make the solid bar. i'm not going to get into it with you so we will just say you know best.

Hey Bacardi,
So are you saying that the TRD 32mm will not work with my 17mm rear isf sway bar? Why is that? Would the front of car be too stiff relative to the rear?

I admit I don't understand the engineering principles behind suspension...

yes it will work but the best setup is the 32mm and 19mm track setup
street 30mm and 18mm in time i'll change to the 18mm will see how things go with 17mm. the 30mm is the bar I wanted.at 71 I still like working on my car.

I'm probably going to be done with my mods, at least for a while, once I get the coilovers installed! But it is tempting!! Let us know how you like the 30mm from Figs!

in my race day bilstein use to make my shock for the Vett. what is called 80/20 meaning the shocks would go up quick pushing the back tire down and slowly come down. traction on take off. the vett. ran 128 in 10.03 1 tenth off the nat. record

you are talking about weight off. I took 41 lbs off my 430sc doing one thing and I didn't remove a thing.. Slvbullet knows what [
i did, most guys would not do this. I call it the quick 41 lbs
made
its nice to talk about something you can't buy and cost to custom make.
