I recently purchased a bunch of bulbs from jDMToy and have been very happy with the stronger light. I have replaced the map lights, vanity lights, puddle lights, glovebox light, and floor lights. Everything I got was a warm white with the exception of the glovebox and the floor lighting. The glovebox is fine, but the floor lights are way to white for me, but again I do light the brighter light.
Here are the lights I was looking at on their site: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=t5
Do you know if there are any LEDs that will fit the lights for the floor and the glovebox that are the warm white versus the white light?
I did some searches but couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance.
Brian

How were you able to install the floor lights. I can't seem to get them out

1) create space by moving your seat as far back as possible
2) prise open the clear plastic lens using a plastic tool or a screwdriver wrapped in cloth - easier to start from the back rather than front I found.
3) yank out the tiny little bulb - a good amount of grip is needed
4) test replacement bulb gently in socket (if LED) to make sure polarity is correct. If not then flip it.
5) A little bulb grease will help you fit the new bulb in quite easily
6) Replace clear plastic lens.
I like the white light on my floor rather than dull yellow. Good luck.

My 2005 worked as follows for the floor lights:

3) yank out the tiny little bulb - a good amount of grip is needed

on my 2005 the foot well lights have no clear lens it is a bulb that can only come out from the back you have to drop the trim panel that is under the glove box to do this and the bulb size if very small
I did change mine to led but there not very bright at all

My '02 has lens for the floor board lights. You're right about how weak the light from the bulbs are, they're pretty wimpy.

Mrblister (and all) - I just found out that my car (which I bought only a few weeks ago) is missing the glovebox light assembly: the connector is simply hanging there. If anyone is planning to discard theirs as part of their mod, I'd be more than happy to buy it off you...
Thanks!
Thanks!
