Installing a accelerator pedal boost controller
Cant figure out how the oem cable separates from the
gas pedal position sensor. Is it a pinch and pull connector ?
Where does it separate from ? Hopefully those of you
that have installed an accelerator pedal boost controller
have been down this road before. You have to be a real
contortionist to get to that connector.
Here's a pic of the Factory connector:

Lead Lap
Try resetting the ECU first. (There's a process documented a few times on this forum.)

The hardest part is working from the driver's floorboard
when you're sitting on the floor outside the car.
Move the driver's seat all the way back and cover
the door sill with some padding so you don't
wind up with sore ribs. The gas pedal sensor isn't
near the floor like I thought it might be...its way up
behind the dash at the top of the foot pedal linkage.
You'll definitely need a flash light too.
You might see a 2-3 mile per gallon drop in
fuel economy, but the engine gets into the power
band earlier and its well worth it when gas is
$2 a gallon ( $1.81 in Oklahoma woo hoo ).
Since the controller has so many different settings,
you can always go back to "stock-like" sensitivity
any time you want.

A month ago here in Ireland we were paying $1.88 a LITRE now down to $1.70 or about $6.17 a gallon. Rang Santa to get a price to take the V8 out and put in a prius (or maybe a Nissan Leaf) power plant. Does anyone know if this booster will get the same acceleration with the Leaf to keep the right pedal smile on my face. Happy Xmas to all.
