Default SC430 Wind Noise

Did a quick search and did not find anything on this topic -- so it may not be an issue for anyone else but me.

There is a noticeable amount of wind noise on the driver's side (obviously with the top and all windows up). Haven't ridden in the passenger seat so not sure if it's there too.

The top closes perfectly, so I'm assuming it's the driver's side mirror.

Anyone else noticed this? If not, I may need to investigate it further.

Thanks,
-gene

Check the weatherstrip on the side view mirror and the strip on the quarter window for tears or damage.

i’m having the same problem I have A sc430 2003 it never made that noise until the last six months I’ve owned it since 2004 I have had a mechanic tell me he can’t hear it but he has not drove it past 50mph
he thinks I’m over reacting but I know something is wrong, I can hear it on both sides of the car. The Lexus dealership told me I needed the weatherstripping replaced around the hardtop I spent over $1000 and it’s still making the noise I believe the windows have sank slightly.
I finally had a friend spray around the windows with the hose on high-pressure and it flooded in the car so if Water can get in imagine how the wind can get in. I was glad I finally proved that wind was getting in the car and I wasn’t just a silly little girl. But I feel like I’m chasing my tail trying to find someone that can fix it
