TPMS SC430 reset tool
I have heard of some owners buying their own TPMS tools for the SC430. Does anyone on here have any first hand experience with these? and does anyone on here know the exact model of tool we need for these cars??

When I got the TPMS light on the instrument cluster, I went to several local shops to get the problem checked. All of the shops had tools for diagnostic's on TPMS systems, but none could read the Lexus SC430 units. Seems it is a rather unique system and so limited in production, not worth supporting. I had to go to a Lexus dealer for repair. ( Was a 10 year old sensor in the right rear wheel that died. ) While I haven't had the opportunity to try it, it is possible that with a mini-VCI 16 Pin OBD2 scanner and TechStream software you could do it yourself.
