Service History Question re: COMB:BATTERY
Looking at the drivers.lexus.com service history, for my low mileage 2007 SC430, there are several entries early on that state COMB: BATTERY. I suspect it may be that dealer charged the battery because one was after being towed in after being parked all winter and the other was immediately before delivery.
Does anybody know what COMB stands for?
Edit: just looked at history again. Same day as COMB there was an additional entry BATTERY. It looked like the low use car got a new battery every year after coming out of winter storage for the first 3 years. After that no more battery entries. Perhaps the original owner bought a battery tender being last battery change was in 2009 and it had an OEM Lexus battery installed. Now if I let it sit 2 days or so the stater cranking speed is noticeably slower. I'm going to swap out this 5 year old battery
