Who will upgrade to the new 2017 SC (LF-LC)?
Now that the new SC is confirmed for a revival, will you upgrade?
Of course, the new car will be faster and more technologically advanced compared to the SC430, but I question it's functionality.
And the biggie: it will not be a convertible.
I think the step up from our SC430 would be a Mercedes SL, maybe a Porsche 911 Targa hardtop. Ferrari California is just ridiculous.
I think if any of us wants a non-convertible coupe, we have so many other options to consider, so is the LF-LC even in your list?
DISCUSS.

The LF-LC is a sexy beast! I would love one along with keeping my SC430! I will say however the RC-F (GT-3 please!) is looking pretty exciting too!!! Hell, sign me up for both!! http://www.lexus.com/concept/RCF/

This is a tough one... I purchased my SC430 for its functionality and the capability of alfresco motoring. I'm going to have to give it a wait and see attitude and gather positive feedback. I see some familiar styling cues of the LF-LC with my SC400 which is still timeless and sexy to this day. I'm sure after the launch of the LF-LC, a ragtop convertible will soon follow, then Lexus will have my undivided attention.

only if I can afford the $100k est. MSRP the price seem to be on the high side.... I might consider the RC-F since the new SC is not a convertible

I'll think about it when I see it with a firm MRSP from Lexus. Biggest thing is how the interior is. I'm not the biggest fan of the recent Lexus interior quality and design. I want my nice living room furniture wood and leather

Nope, the main feature of the SC that pushed me into its camp was the hard top convertible. No convertible, no interest.
