After checking out many 2009 PBs along with just a few of the 2010 model, I am overjoyed waiting until I could get the 2010. It is about a $5k difference, but well worth it. Just be patient. I have found that the number of 2010s listed on the Autotrader is anywhere from 3 to 7 at any given time (in the country!). I missed a 2009 PB with 24k miles that I negotiated a price of $35k and a month later I ended up with my 2010 with 27k miles for $39k. I am very glad that my situation worked out the way it did, even with a few hiccups along the way. The PBs are all a limited edition, but so is the 2010 with many more upgrades.

I have the 08 PB. Really like the colors of the 09, too! Didn't see many (any!) 10's listed!
Our requirements were less than 50k miles, 06 or newer PB, around $30k out the door ... 08 was our fave.

Not mine either!
Just joined - had a 1995 manual SC 300, a 1997 SC 400, a 2004 SC 430 (totaled) a 2007 SC 430 (totaled after 7 weeks), and am now the proud owner of a 2009 SC 430 pebble beach edition with 24,000miles onit.
Two things got me thinking I should join
1. have continuously used forums to DIY - thanks a million
2. just wanted to give my local dealership (Watertown Lexus) a great name for fixing my a/c for $0 (wiring harness unpluged !!!)
Thanks for the $ the forum has saved me

I paid $41k for my 2009 Pebble Beach a year ago, which seemed pretty steep at the time, but it only had 9K miles and was showroom fresh (still smells new). I have 13K miles on it now (use a Lexus LS600hL as my "daily driver"). Don't plan to sell it anytime soon, but if I did I would think it sell for mid- to upper-$30s pretty easily.

The 2009 PB is a very classy color combination. Good luck with it.

Just thought I should make clear neither SC's I totaled were my fault
The school bus rear ended me (driver on the phone)
The flash flood engulfed me - don't laugh at those poor folks in the underpass with water up to their blinking hazards a flash flood is not inescapable in most instances!
