Default Sway Bar

Guy
Just installed: Great info for us. One of the guys on the CL ISF forum sold me a 2008 Stock ISF 17mm sway bar. This is a perfect fit for the 430sc. Just install with ISF bushings and drive away. The cost me 60+ 14 shipping from CL member.

Do you feel any difference with the rear sway bar?

The SC430 has its own rear sway bar. Why did you change it to the ISF one?

yes it feels tighter. helps with cornering I used the 2008 stock ISF rear bar because no one make larger sways bars for 430sc. this is a great upgrade to the 430sc. the stock rear bar is only 12mm.

Sounds good.

Do you also need the new bushings? How hard is it to install it? Did you do it yourself?

Hey Bacardi11

Thats awesome :-P How did you find out that the IS swaybars would fit our SC?

Just looked at the sewell website and the oem sway for 2006-2008 IS250, 350 and ISF is the same.

http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S250-2008.html

http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...-ISF-2008.html

http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S350-2008.html

part # 48812 and the bushings are also the same # 48818

So i wonder if the cool blue F sport would fit also? They are only $392 with clublexus discount for both front and rear including bushings ;-)
http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2008/5408.html

The part numbers on the front swaybar and bushings on these cars also the same so i guess they should fit right?

rollaboy
i spend sometime ISF forum i ask one of the guys with a 2008 ISF that change to the F-Sport. i ask him what the length of the bar told me 32" long he send the picture of the bar. that looks like our bar. so i get the bar for 60 i only can lose 60. 2008 ISF 17mm rear bar has the bends to go around the center part that stopped us from using a larger bar. like I said the 2008 ISF rear bar fits our 430sc car. i'm using the same setup as the stock ISF. with a Gs 28,6 front and the 17mm ISF rear.

They don't make any aftermarket sway bar for the 430sc.
I just got back from having my front sway bar installed. I can feel the difference.
I now have the GS Front Sway Bar 28.6mm and the 2008 (ISF Rear Sway Bar 17mm) ISF part # 48812-30400
This is the same setup as the ISF from the factory.
Stock 430sc Front 26mm and Rear 12mm
Nice Guys
Will be installing the Energy front sway bushings and the rear sway bar bushings and link bushings when they get here.
