I really don't want to get the XPel film guard product, but would like something for occasional long highway trips to protect against rock chips and bugs,etc. Can anyone recommend something that I could put on and take off relatively easily that itself wouldn't scratch the paint.

I know you asked the question earlier and no one responded... I would guess because no one really knows of anything that can be used as a substitute for permanent protection. I understand from reading earlier threads that there is an SC430 bra you can purchase from the Lexus dealer. You may want to check into that.
